1. Unthread the brush top by rotating counter-clockwise
2. Remove the refill pod from the container
3. Insert the new refill pod into the container
4. Thread the brush top back on clockwise to close
Spray the brush with 70-80% disinfecting alcohol spray. Do not submerge the brush in water or soapy water as it will loosen the bristles
Use a wet wipe or makeup wipe to get into the bristles thoroughly
Allow it to air dry

I’m disappointed. I don’t know how long ago they changed the applicator brush but the new design doesn’t work nearly as well for me. The bristles started falling out immediately and the brush hair is so fine I can’t apply the powder directly to the roots as well. It’s like trying to comb your hair with a makeup brush. I would still buy this over a spray dry shampoo but I hope they change the design back to a slightly stiffer brush. At this price the bristles should not be falling out on first use.
I have been searching for the perfect powdered dry shampoo for my hair type for years. I was first drawn to m'Chel's applicator brush, which works better than any other applicator I've used. Come to find out that the dry shampoo powder keeps my very fine and oily hair looking fresh and tangle free for days between washes. 10/10 would recommend.

I was told by a social media rep that the old brushes that were more stiff were brought back but they weren't, the brushes are still flimsy :( I received two products that I didn't order for free which is nice, I have not been able to use them though. I'm still giving 4 stars because this actually is the best dry shampoo I've used ... pretty pricey tho! But lasts a good while

I really like this product. I have tried others and I keep coming back to this one. It’s easy and compact so easy to travel with and I love that it doesn’t have all that aerosol spray that chokes you half to death and, most importantly, it works. It’s simple and it works. That’s what matters to me. And it’s easy to use on my dark hair. Blends in nicely. 💝
Its great for application, but is hard to get the top off. Not sure if that is just because of the powder "gripping" the lid.
Bought this on my cousin's recommendation. It works okay for a day max. I played around with how much to put in my hair and while it's better than other dry shampoos I've tried, I still need to wash my hair after a day of having it in no matter the amount I put on. Then I don't know if it's my shampoo, but I have to double wash my hair if I had this in my hair. Otherwise, it feels like there's still a lot of build-up. I'm someone who gets oily hair after a day, so I need to wash my hair frequently, so it might just not work well for me and my hair type.
I hate to say this because I have ordered previously and recommended to others, but this brush arrived and malfunctioned almost immediately. The bristles don’t work, the mechanism that spins it open or closed is faulty and the powder spilled everywhere 😢 f

Love the product, been using for two years now! The only issue I have is that when I go to replace the brush with the refill I find the powder ends up leaking out quite a bit so the refill doesn't last very long.
The product has a very strange scent and in an effort to remove the case and expose the brush to use it, I opened the entire container and all of the powder fell out, and then the top would not screw back on. Ended up throwing the whole thing out. Fast shipping though.
I’m glad to be moving away from aerosol so like it from that perspective! However it didn’t work any magic in my oily hair and still felt similar to the other 15 dry shampoo products that I’ve used. But that said I’ll use this going forward because better than aerosol:)

This product is better than any other existing product. One caveat as someone with dark hair is that there is a white cast. They encourage you to use the product right away rather than when your hair has already gotten really dirty to avoid using too much product at once. While this helps, I still have to really work the product with my fingers to make it disappear. The method of only using a tiny bit is also not super convenient if you want to use the product for volume too, as I often did with traditional aerosol dry shampoo. Using more than suggested definitely does increase volume, you will just have to really work out the color with your fingers. That being said, it does work very well, the dispensing method is much more effective than spray, and the product itself actually soothes my scalp instead of irritating it. I would never switch back to anything else now that I have this.
I love using this product. The unscented formula is great for my sensitive head. The applicator is easy to use and highly recommend it.
I love this product as it works wonders. I did get a new brush and refills this time as I dropped my old one and broke it. The new brush system lets too much product out when using (even on the ‘lower’ dispense level). It seems like a lot of product is ending up on my counter and not my hair

I really love this dry shampoo. It works well for my fine hair that gets oily quickly and extends my ability to wash by at least 1-2 days if I apply it before bed. It does not irritate as there is no fragrance and no residue. Overall would highly recommend for those that need dry shampoo and are avoiding aerosols.

I have been using this for around 2 years now. I do love the actual product, but I am not a fan of the redesigned brush. It is far too soft, and I feel like it is dispensing too much powder even on the smaller opening. Hopefully, they change this in the future back to the harder brush heads.

I purchased the Day After Brush + Refill Bundle, and I regret it. It’s frustrating to use, inconsistent, and overall doesn’t perform well. In my opinion, it doesn’t compare to the significantly cheaper options out there. While I appreciate that it’s marketed as a healthier and safer alternative, it’s not really an alternative if it doesn’t work.
